Since the first day of 2020, I have drawn at least one mandala every day for the last almost 60 days as part of a creative making marathon that has grounded me in ways both expected and unexpected. It has been much harder and one thousand times more gratifying than I had anticipated. Not every mandala has been great. But each has lead me to something far more satisfying and meaningful than I had hoped. Many of them have started here at the Pfister. A place where people come to work and play. A place for travelers near and far. A place where anything is possible. And just like the Pfister, each is layered in history, tradition, and the beauty of the human spirit. And each, has led me to a new story.
