Mehndi or Henna, the East-Indian practice of adorning the hands and feet with a paste made from the finely ground leaves of the henna plant, captivated me as a young girl and is now the lens through which I see the world. I borrow from the intricate floral and geometric patterns of
this ancient art form to bring my own designs and illustrations to life. With pen on paper, I draw free hand capturing and celebrating our
shared experiences, the power of human connection and the beauty of the human spirit. Each drawing is captured digitally, screened
and printed on a selection of stylish and cozy tees, tanks & hoodies, jewelry, limited edition prints, books, journals and more. Just
as the hands and feet provide a living canvas for the art of henna, my art lives through the clothes we wear,
the homes we live in, the books we read, and the pages on which we write and draw.
