Happy New Year!

2020 has come and gone
 And 2021 has just begun.

Here in Milwaukee
 Winter has settled in.

And so have I.

My hands get cold far too soon
 Frozen, by the time I go in.

But still, the flow of the river
 And the magic of the lake.

The solitude and snowy blue.

Draws me in and reminds me. 
 Of a whole wide world.
 Full of beauty.⁣⁣
