Today, March 8th, is International Women’s Day. Last year when Ruth Bader Ginsberg died at age 87, I went back and re-read her remarks at her swearing-in ceremony in 1993 and wrote down this particular passage in my journal. It seems fitting to remember it now. For all of the women in my life as well as those who are not. In all of your many shapes, colors and sizes. I celebrate and honor you.
