The River Tree

“When I am among the trees, especially the willows and the honey locust, equally the beech, the oaks and the pines, they give off such hints of gladness. I would almost say that they save me, and daily.”
~ Mary Oliver

Introducing ‘The River Tree.’ Created for my first Public Arts Commission near my home on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, it is a celebration of our rich and diverse landscape and a reminder that we are all connected — to the present,  the past, the earth, the land, the waters and each other. ⁣

If you live in Milwaukee or are visiting please consider taking the walking tour to check out my first Public Arts work, a traffic signal light box featuring ‘The River Tree.’ It is located on the south side of Atwater Park in the Village of Shorewood just on the edge of the city.
